Accompanying Persons are spouses or other family members who wish to attend the opening ceremony and mixer, closing reception, enter the Exhibits and ride the shuttle buses. Accompanying persons who want to attend the technical sessions must purchase a full (member, non-member, or student) registration. Children who are 16 years or younger do not need to register if accompanied by a conference-registered adult.

Presenter Registration Required

All scheduled presenters must register in order to present their paper [oral and poster] by October 11, 2021. Invited presenters may contact the symposium organizer to determine if the registration fee is being paid for by the symposium.

A Special Request from Pacifichem 2021

Owing to the COVID-19 Pandemic and the additional costs that we have incurred in delaying the meeting for a year and adding virtual content, Pacifichem 2021 is now in a very tight financial situation. If you are in a position to not use a voucher, or to otherwise help our bottom line by encouraging additional attendees or financial donations, we would greatly appreciate it! Thank you.

Virtual Congress Registration Cancellation Policy

Registrants may cancel or transfer their virtual registration for Pacifichem 2021 at any time. No refunds will be given for virtual Congress registration fees. In the case that a registration fee for the virtual Congress has been paid and the person can no longer participate in the virtual Congress, the registration can be transferred to a different attendee by emailing Pacifichem@acs.org.

In-Person Congress Registration Cancellation Policy

The Pacifichem 2021 Congress Planning Committee understands the uncertain times for traveling due to the COVID 19 pandemic. Therefore, if an attendee needs to cancel registration to the in-person Congress due to complications related to the pandemic (such as sickness or travel restrictions) cancellations will be allowed at any time. For cancellations related to the pandemic, a refund of the in-person registration fee will be given, less a 15% processing fee (if the person paid by credit card). The refund will be credited back to the original payment method. Alternatively, in-person registrants may re-assign their registration to be virtual. If transferring to a virtual registration the difference in price between the in-person and virtual will be refunded (and no processing fee will be incurred). Please contact Pacifichem@acs.org regarding requests for cancellations.

Attendee Agreements

While registering all attendees of Pacifichem 2021 are required to agree to the Pacifichem Code of Conduct and in-person attendees are required to agree to the Pacifichem 2021 Attendee Acknowledgements.
