Pacifichem 2021 Virtual Congress Registration is now Open!

All meeting attendees, including invited and contributed speakers, must register in order to attend the scientific sessions and meeting events. The registration fee includes access to all live Virtual Scientific Sessions, live Virtual Poster Sessions, Virtual Exhibits, and Access to the On-Demand Virtual Scientific Session Library.  

Pacifichem 2021 Registration Fees

The shift to a fully virtual program allowed us to reduce registration fees. Reduced registration fees are as listed below:

Regular: USD 399

Student: USD 129

Virtual Congress Registration Includes:

Registrants will have access to the virtual congress platform. The platform will include the following:

  • Ability to network virtually with other attendees and presenters
  • Participation in live virtual scientific oral sessions
  • Viewing of recorded on-demand oral and poster presentations
  • Participation in live poster sessions

Refunds for Previous Payments

With the announcement of the new fees and converting to a fully-virtual congress on October 8: All current registrants will have their registration fees adjusted to reflect the above and will be refunded for the price difference. Those who paid via credit card can expect to see a refund back to the credit card within the next 5 – 7 business days. Those who paid via wire transfer will receive a separate email detailing  the next steps for their refund.

Students

Student registration fees are available to full-time students enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program. Post-doctoral fellows are not students.

Due to the rescheduling of Pacifichem there is a special exception for student registrations for Pacifichem 2021 – if a person was a student in December 2020 that also qualifies them for the student registration fee.

Presenter Registration Required

All scheduled presenters must register in order to present their paper [oral and poster] by October 11, 2021, 11:59 PM ET. Invited presenters may contact the symposium organizer to determine if the registration fee is being paid for by the symposium.

A Special Request from Pacifichem 2021

Owing to the COVID-19 Pandemic and the additional costs that we have incurred in delaying the meeting for a year and adding virtual content, Pacifichem 2021 is now in a very tight financial situation. If you are in a position to not use a voucher, or to otherwise help our bottom line by encouraging additional attendees or financial donations, we would greatly appreciate it! Thank you.

Virtual Congress Registration Cancellation Policy

Registrants may cancel or transfer their virtual registration for Pacifichem 2021 at any time. No refunds will be given for virtual Congress registration fees. In the case that a registration fee for the virtual Congress has been paid and the person can no longer participate in the virtual Congress, the registration can be transferred to a different attendee by emailing Pacifichem@acs.org.

Attendee Agreements

While registering all attendees of Pacifichem 2021 are required to agree to the Pacifichem Code of Conduct and in-person attendees are required to agree to the Pacifichem 2021 Attendee Acknowledgements.

Registration Fee Payment Methods

Registration fees will be processed in US Dollars. Attendees should register online and select the payment method on the last page of registration. Registrants will be emailed a registration confirmation which includes their payment receipt or instructions for payment.

Payment Methods Include:

Credit/Bank Card: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover are all accepted through the online registration payment page.

Check Payment Instructions: Make check payable to “Pacifichem, Inc.” and mail a printed registration confirmation with the check to the below address. If you are paying for multiple registrations via one check, include each printed registration confirmation with the check.

Registration Information for Attendees from Japan

The Chemical Society of Japan, a co-sponsor of Pacifichem 2021, has entered into an agreement with the Kinki Nippon Tourist Corporate Business, Co., LTD  to facilitate travel and housing arrangements for attendees coming to Pacifichem 2021 from Japan. Residents of Japan can obtain information in Japanese and register for the meeting (as well as book their hotel and airline reservations) by contacting Kinki Nippon Tourist Corporate Business, Co., LTD directly at pacifichem2021@or.knt.co.jp.
